Procedures for drawback settlement updated

The Federal Public Revenue Administration (AFIP) proceeded to modify the procedure for the liquidation of Drawback, to which exporters must adhere to receive the aforementioned benefit of this customs regime, according to general resolution 4544/2019.

La regulations, published this Tuesday (06.08.2019) in the Official Gazette, states that AFIP updates the technical and procedural aspects of point 2. of Section A) of Annex III of General Resolution No. 1.921, in order to speed up the procedures and optimize the registration and settlement of the drawback in the Malvinas Computer System (SIM).

The text adds that the objective of the Federal Administration is to develop instruments that promote competitiveness and facilitate foreign trade, without losing sight of controls and risk management.

This general resolution will enter into force on August 6, 2019.
