-

Following an analysis focused on suspicious operations in the simplified courier regime, the General Directorate of Customs (DGA) fined a woman in more than USD 8 million.

According to the competent authority that regulates customs clearance entering and leaving the Argentine Republic, the woman had appealed to the door-to-door system, since 2020, to introduce merchandise into the national territory improperly.

The citizen presented adulterated invoices, which had identical numbers, but different descriptions, dates and amounts. In some cases, the dates were even in English and in others, in Spanish.
