Customs sets new reference export values

The General Directorate of Customs (DGA) continued with the reestablishment of reference values ​​for export products, as part of its strategy to combat evasion and abusive maneuvers, through the General Resolution 4785/2020 published this Monday (03.08.2020) in the Official Gazette.

After having set the reference prices for onion and milk powder exports, the new regulations established in US$ 1,25 per kilo is the reference value of the raisin bound for Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela.

The regulations explain that this control is aimed at improving the selectivity system in terms of value, in order to detect deviations from the usual values ​​for identical or similar merchandise. 

In this regard, the technical department of the DGA exchanged information with internal and external sources to make the decision, says the official text.

The provisions of this General Resolution will enter into force as of August 4, 2020.
