the General Directorate of Customs, updated the amounts of the performance guarantees for firms operating under the Home Customs and Factory Customs Regimes, through the Resolution 28 / 2025, published today (26.09.2025) in the Official Gazette.
The measure adjusts the amounts of the guarantees taking into account the companies' assets, the volume of import and export operations, taxes paid, and export incentives received. It also establishes that companies that have obtained the category OAS-SECURITY of the Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) program may consider the obligation to maintain the guarantee satisfied when they reach the 50% of the established amount for his regime.
The resolution includes annexes with the specific amounts for 24 companies, including Abbott Laboratories, Arcor, Bayer, Ford, General Motors, Honda, Toyota, Volkswagen, among others, and establishes that this data is reserved to preserve customs and tax confidentiality.
Companies using both regimes have a term of 10 days from the notification of the resolution for renew or adjust your warranties as indicated in the corresponding annexes.
