The Federal Public Revenue Administration, through the General Directorate of Customs, authorized the entry of new users to the Pilot Plan of the “Authorized Economic Operator” (AEO) Program, which aims to reduce costs.
This is established by the General Resolution 4439/2019 Published this Wednesday (20.3.2019) in the Official Gazette, which states that the measure responds to strategic sectors of foreign trade that expressed their willingness to adhere to this program.
According to the regulations, the new users incorporated are:
1. Companies that operate under the Residential Customs Regime.
2. Exporters whose import and export operations in the calendar year immediately preceding the submission of the application for membership have exceeded the amount of US$ 100.000.000.
3. Strategic importers/exporters within Argentine foreign trade, incorporated at the discretion of the General Directorate of Customs (DGA).
The measure comes into effect immediately.
