U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers are supporting the Government of The Bahamas and USAID in life-saving and sustainment operations to aid in the road to recovery, the agency said in a statement.
The CBP reports that it continues to airlift survivors of Hurricane Dorian from the devastated areas of Abaco Island and Grand Bahama Island in Baha, while organizing response teams in the Carolinas to support potential rescue operations there.
