After a month of inactivity, the Swissport GBH SA warehouse with jurisdiction in La Mesa Customs in Honduras reopens this Wednesday (30.12.2020), according to an announcement by the Customs Administration of the Central American country.
The reopening of activities takes place after the execution of the removal, cleaning and conditioning works of the Customs mentioned, after having been disabled due to the damage caused by the intense tropical storms ETA and IOTA, recorded this year in the Atlantic.
Official information highlights that The authorities responded to such disasters, allowing customs operations carried out at the La Mesa Customs Office to not stop during the emergency..
Remember that Honduras has 24 customs offices, of which 12 are land (including La Mesa), 8 are maritime and 4 are air. La Mesa Customs Office is located in the northern part of the country, in the Department of Cortés. It is the second busiest customs office in the country after Puerto Cortés.
