Government restricts export of oxygen therapy devices

Within the framework of the public health emergency, the Government orders to limit the export of oxygen therapy devices, its parts and accessories, through the decree 301/2020.

The regulation, published this Friday (20.03.2020/XNUMX/XNUMX) in the Official Gazette, establishes that "exports of goods included in the tariff item of the Common Nomenclature of Mercosur (NCM), detailed below, must process a export permit to be issued by the Ministry of Productive Development with the necessary intervention of the Ministry of Health:

9019.20.10 Oxygen therapy equipment, parts and accessories thereof«.

The decision responds to "the health emergency situation and to not affect the health care of the population, as a result of the outbreak of the new Coronavirus COVID-19,” the regulations explain.

The decree It comes into force immediately and will remain in force as long as the public emergency lasts. in health matters declared by Law No. 27.541, expanded by Decree No. 260 dated March 12, 2020.
