On October 25, 2019, Argentina and Paraguay signed the Agreement on the Common Automotive Policy, registered with the Latin American Integration Association (ALADI) as the Second Additional Protocol to the Economic Complementation Agreement Number 13.
Under this protocol, trade in new automotive products produced in the territory of both countries will benefit from a 100% percentage preference, that is, 0% ad valorem tariff, with the exception of passenger cars and those manufactured for the transport of people.
