Through a presidential decree, the Government created the "Commission for the partial modification of the Civil and Commercial Code of the Nation." The objective will be to submit to the Executive Branch a draft of the new text in less than six months.
The decision was communicated through the decree 182 / 2018, which was published this Wednesday (7.3.2018) in the Official Gazette with the signature of President Mauricio Macri and Minister of Justice Germán Garavano.
The commission will be composed of Julio César Rivera; Ramón Daniel Pizarro; Diego Botana; Agustina Díaz Cordero, who will serve as academic secretary; and Marcelo Alejandro Rufino, who will act as secretary "ad hoc." "The members of the Commission will carry out their work 'ad honorem'," the decree clarifies.
