The Government made official the decree that extends mandatory isolation

The Government made official the Extension of mandatory social isolation imposed due to the coronavirus pandemic until April 26 with the possibility of establishing "exceptions" to the current prevention measures, through the  Decree of Necessity and Urgency (DNU) 355/2020.

The measure was published in the Official Gazette this Saturday (11.04.2020/2/XNUMX) with modifications provided for in article XNUMX, whose text establishes that the Chief of the Cabinet of Ministers, in his capacity as Coordinator of the “General Coordination Unit of the Comprehensive Plan for the Prevention of Public Health Events of International Importance” may, after intervention by the national health authority, and at the request of the governors and head of the Buenos Aires government, provide exceptions to compliance with “mandatory social, preventive and isolation.”

Thus, Santiago Cafiero will have the possibility of "excepting the prohibition of movement for personnel affected by certain activities and services or people who live in specific and delimited geographical areas", provided that certain "circumstances" apply.

In this sense, it states that Provincial leaders must make their requests «in writing, "with prior intervention and consent of the highest local health authority, taking into account the respective epidemiological situation."

That requirement, will have to be accompanied by "an operating protocol" corresponding, complying with national and local health and safety recommendations and instructions."

The regulations also indicated that "the authorities of the jurisdictions and agencies of the national public sector, in coordination with their counterparts in the provincial and municipal jurisdictions, will establish the necessary inspection procedures to guarantee compliance with social, preventive and mandatory isolation, current protocols and the regulations established within the framework of the health emergency and its complementary regulations."
