Laboratories, certifiers and inspection bodies that are registered as SMEs in the registry of the Ministry of Production and Labor, will be able to access Soft loans with a one-year grace period to pay them and a bonus of 600 points on the BADLAR rateAccreditation enables companies and organisations to guarantee the quality standards of their processes and enhance their possibilities for international integration.

Through Resolution 380 / 2019, published in the Official Gazette, the Government announced a Financing line of up to $300.000 for laboratories, certifiers and inspection bodies to accredit their processes with the Argentine Accreditation Body (OAA)This line was created within the framework of the Argentine Quality Plan and as a tool of the Argentina Exporta program, both initiatives of the Ministry of Foreign Trade.

Accreditation represents a seal of quality of services against standards required at national and international level.. It also allows laboratories to be recognized and accepted, reducing trade barriers and increasing their possibilities of entering new markets.

«Currently in Argentina there is a low proportion of laboratories accredited by the OAA and more than 85% are concentrated in the central region of the country. Increasing the number of accredited laboratories and strengthening the quality infrastructure is one of our priorities to promote greater federalization, consistent with the demand of regional economies for domestic consumption and export markets.", highlighted the Secretary of Foreign Trade, Marisa Bircher.

The financing line, which is granted through the National Productive Development Fund (FONDEP), managed by the Secretariat of Entrepreneurs and SMEs, is aimed at laboratories, certifiers and inspection agencies that have a valid MiPyME certificate.

Micro, small and medium-sized businesses will be able to access soft loans of up to $300 thousand pesos – VAT included – with a bonus of 600 points on the BADLAR rate and a one-year grace period to make the first payment.

In order to access the financing line, companies must complete the “Accreditations – Assistance for FONDEP SMEs” procedure on the Remote Procedures (TAD) platform.
