Through the Ministry of Agriculture, the National Government presented its new “Electronic Warrant System”, which allows the issuance of warrants and electronic certificates of deposits from anywhere in the country through the AFIP one-stop shop.
This is an initiative that aims to "provide Greater transparency and statistical information to the market,” explained the Ministry, which launched the agreement together with the Undersecretary of Agricultural Markets, the Coordination of Warrants and the Undersecretary of Technical and Administrative Coordination.
How Does It Work?
To start on the platform, you will have to do so through the AFIP single window, and validate the data with the CUIT and Fiscal key.
Once entered into the system, The Warrant issuing company will be responsible for issuing the documents, which will remain pending for signature by their clients.
"This system is fed by information from the AFIP, as well as that which will be generated daily through the Users with data on deposits, insurance, products and qualities“, they explained officially.
In this sense, companies ready to start have already received information to begin the “Beta” testing phase. After that stage, the system will be mandatory.
“This is a step forward to strengthen the warrant system in Argentina. The warrant is a fundamental instrument for financing agricultural activity. The system will allow companies to issue them more safely and the Ministry will have the means to carry out controls and compile statistics in real time," said the Undersecretary of Agricultural Markets, Jesús Silveyra.
Aduana News is the first Argentine customs newspaper to launch its digital version. With 20 years of experience, its publications and initiatives aim to provide the most relevant knowledge on customs issues in order to contribute to safe trade in the region.
