The Government established a series of requirements that companies wishing to export must meet oxygen therapy devices, medical and health supplies, such as ethyl alcohol, certain medications or surgical gloves, through the Resolution 140 / 2020.
The measure of the Ministry of Productive Development, published this Tuesday (07.04.2020/XNUMX/XNUMX) in the Official Gazette, indicates that Companies interested in exporting such medical supplies must be duly registered in the Ministry's Single Registry (RUMP)., and they must enter the Remote Procedures (TAD) platform, to access the “Export Permit Application, according to Decrees Numbers 301/20 and 317/20” and complete the available form.
The application must be submitted to the Export Directorate, which is part of the Undersecretariat of Commercial Policy and Management of the Ministry.
The Export Directorate will formally intervene with the Undersecretariat of Medicines and Strategic Information of the Ministry of Health, which will issue a decision, within a maximum period of 10 days, on the local supply needs of the goods involved and their coverage.
The regulations clarify that in the absence of a response from the department required in consultation, it will be understood as a refusal. to the query asked.
Once the aforementioned stage has been completed, the Export Directorate will analyze the information and documentation submitted by the requesting company, as well as that provided by the health authority required for consultation, and will prepare a technical report containing the conclusions reached regarding the admissibility of the request submitted, based on the total coverage of the local supply needs of the goods involved.
The Undersecretariat of Commercial Management Policy will issue, if applicable, the export permit, which will be valid for 30 calendar days and must be submitted by the interested companies, prior to export, to the General Directorate of Customs.
The resolution, signed by the Minister of Productive Development, Matías Sebastián Kulfas, comes into force immediately.
