The Government distributed the quota to export sugar to the United States among 15 sugar mills

The Ministry of Agriculture distributed among 15 sugar mills the quota of 43.243,360 tons of sugar for export to the United States, through Resolution 188/2020 published this Wednesday (09.09.2020) in the Official Gazette.

This is raw sugar with a polarization of no less than 96 degrees, covered by Eligibility Certificates for the period 2020/2021.

Also, the regulations indicated that The quantity to be exported must enter the United States starting next October 1st. and until September 30, 2021.

He also pointed out that the distribution carried out in this resolution does not guarantee the issuance of the respective Certificates of Authenticity in favor of the successful bidders, which can only be issued after compliance with all established requirements.

Specifically, the Ministry of Agriculture determined a quota of 13.706,983 tons for Ledesma; for the Concepción Sugar Complex, 9.168,011; Prosal, 5.156,330; José Minetti, 4.000,337 0; Industrial Investment Company, 3.596,205; Arcor 2.548,910; Rio Grande Sugar Mill, 1.658,248; Los Balcanes Sugar Company, 1.130,740; Deloitte, 669,974; Salta Soft Drinks 530,226; Ferma Agrobusiness 424,848; San Geronimo Sugar Mill 339,863; Siempre Verde 123,205; Argenbio 97,527; Carrizo Archimides Ramon Teodoro 91,953.
