The National Gas Regulatory Entity (Enargas) authorized the oil company Total Austral to export natural gas from the Neuquén basin to Chile.
He did it through the 41 resolution of the Ministry of Energy, published this Tuesday (19.2.2019) in the Official Gazette.

The measure provides that the supply will also be made until completing the total maximum amount equivalent to the authorized daily export volume for the number of days of validity of this authorization since its granting, whichever occurs first.
Furthermore, the legislation specified that the supplies provided for in this authorisation may be interrupted in order to guarantee the security of supply to the domestic market.
The export authorization will automatically expire if the first commercial export of natural gas has not been carried out within the 45-day period.
Total Austral must report monthly to the enforcement authority, by way of a sworn declaration, the volumes exported monthly.
