The Government decided to modify the requirements that companies must meet to access a part of the so-called Hilton Share, in the context of the pandemic where markets have been affected.
This is established by the Resolution 130 / 2020, published this Tuesday (16.06.2020/XNUMX/XNUMX) in the Official Gazette, whose text approves "the complementary rules of the legal regime for the allocation and distribution of the tariff quota granted by the European Union to the Argentine Republic", called "Hilton Quota".
According to the regulations, the decision will apply to "the business cycle between July 1, 2020 and June 30, 2021, which establishes the conditions and requirements "that interested parties must meet in order to access the aforementioned quota."
The Government stated that "those interested in accessing the aforementioned export quota must submit their application to the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries only through the Remote Procedures Platform (TAD), through the website www.tramitesadistancia.gob.ar».
The official text also clarified that the registration period to request the export license "will begin to apply from midnight on the day this measure comes into force and for a period of 10 consecutive days".
The provisions of the Resolution, signed by the Minister of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries, Luis Basterra, come into effect immediately.
