The Federal Public Revenue Administration (AFIP) established reference values for the export of powdered milk, through the General Resolution 4765/2020.
The regulations, published this Wednesday (22.07.2020) in the Official Gazette, set out $2,450 (FOB) per kilogram, the reference value of this canned product up to 2 kilograms; $2,915 (FOB) per Kg for non-canned product and less than 2 kilos; 2,750 dollars (FOB) per Kg for non-canned containers exceeding that weight and in $2,062 (FOB) for modified milk powder, made from cow's milk.
As explained in the recitals, "said control is aimed at improving the selectivity system in terms of value, in order to detect deviations from the usual values for identical or similar merchandise."
Reference values will apply to exports made to all countries South America, part of Central America, some countries in Asia and almost all of Africa.
The provisions of the resolution, signed by the Director General of Customs, Silvia Traverso, will come into force on July 24, 2020.
