Procedure established for registering sworn declarations for exporting agricultural products

-

The Government established the procedure for the registration of the Declarations of Foreign Sales (DJVE) of agricultural products, through the 128 / 2019 resolution published this Friday (15.11.2019) in the Official Gazette.

The official text indicates that the exporter who intends to export the agricultural products included, and those that could be incorporated in the future, must complete and enter the DJVE, making it official in the Malvinas Computer System (SIM), through the application Kit Maria or Argentine Foreign Trade Single Window (Vucea).

The Affidavit of Foreign Sales must be made official at the SIM by eleven (11:00 a.m.) on the business day following the closing of the sale, so that, if applicable, it can be registered.

The DJVEs entered through the Kit María application or Vucea must contain the necessary data so that the Undersecretariat can register them electronically according to its competencies.

The operational and management guidelines for the computer registration procedure and processing of merchandise exports that require the registration of Foreign Sales Affidavits will be available on the Vucea Portal websites, the Federal Public Revenue Administration (AFIP), and the Ministry of Agriculture.

The Undersecretariat of Agricultural Markets will have access to all DJVEs registered through the SIM or in the system that is determined in the future, for the purposes of carrying out the corresponding controls, without the need for the exporter to present the document in paper format to the public agency in question.

The exporter must verify in the SIM or alternatively on the Vucea or Agriculture website, the correct registration of the sworn declarations submitted in a timely manner.

The measure, signed by the Minister of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries, Luis Miguel Etchevehere, will come into force on Tuesday, November 19, 2019.
