The Ministry of Productive Development set antidumping duties on aluminum sheets from China, through the 74 / 2020 resolution published this Wednesday (26.02.2020/XNUMX/XNUMX) in the Official Gazette.

The same specified that these rights were established for the unalloyed aluminum sheets or aluminum alloys of the 3xxx Series according to IRAM 681 standard.

The measure includes those with a diameter greater than or equal to 60 millimeters but less than or equal to 1.000 millimeters, and a thickness greater than or equal to 0,3 millimeters but less than or equal to 5 millimeters.

For this product a Definitive anti-dumping duty calculated on FOB export values ​​of 80,14%.

The investigation was opened as a result of the request submitted by the companies Laminación Paulista, Industrializadora de Metales and Metalúrgica Oliva, for alleged dumping.

At the end of November, the Ministry of Foreign Trade determined the existence of dumping practices for the operations analyzed. 

The measure will take effect immediately and will be valid for the term of five (5) years.
