In order to close the gaps between national exporting companies and those with the potential to do so, the Argentine Chamber of Commerce and Services (CAC) held the first activity of the year of the “PyMEs al Mundo” program on Tuesday (03.03.2020), the Entity reported in a statement.

The “PyMEs al Mundo” initiative is a virtual showroom of the CAC and MercadoLibre that also provides tools to small and medium-sized Argentine companies seeking to sell their products and services abroad.

The training included lectures by Silvina Fediuk, executive director of Processes of the Single Window for Foreign Trade (VUCE) and Emmanuel Venice, project manager of Export Simple, a platform that facilitates logistics for shipping products to any part of the world and which was discussed in the broadcast coordinated by Sebastián Ferrari and Manuel Aispuro, two of those responsible for «SMEs to the World». Norma Sueta, from the Foreign Trade Export Directorate of the Ministry of Productive Development of the Nation, also attended.

The first training meeting served to disseminate information regarding the Exporta Simple program and the changes that will take place soon, such as the elimination of the 300 kg limit and the incorporation of Aerolíneas Argentinas, while a loading demonstration was made on the portal on how to quote and determine the cost of the operation.

"The interesting thing is that of the 1704 users, more than 50% were new exporters.”, Venice noted, adding that since the birth of Exporta Simple in 2017, exports worth more than 33 million dollars have been completed.

According to the press release, VUCE's participation in "PyMEs al Mundo" is in line with what was agreed upon days ago at the CAC.
