The national government arranged the certification of the digital signature, through the decree 774 / 2019.
The measure, approved by President Mauricio Macri and Chief of Staff Marcos Peña, was published this Tuesday (19.11.2019/XNUMX/XNUMX) in the Official Gazette.
The text states: “The digital signature of an electronic document satisfies the signature certification requirement established for the holographic signature in any procedure carried out by the interested party before the National Public Administration, centralized and decentralized."
According to the decree, the measure is based on Law 27.446, which established that digitally signed electronic official documents, electronic files, official communications, electronic notifications and the special electronic address of the Remote Procedures Platform and Electronic Document Management Systems used in administrative procedures and judicial processes, have the same effectiveness and probative value for the National Public Sector as their equivalents in paper format.
Meanwhile, public institutions, entities, organizations, banks, among others, are affected by this measure. The current law also supports cAny other medium used on the date of entry into force of this measure, which due to its interoperability produces its automatic recognition in the Electronic Document Management Systems, so its legalization will not be required.
