The Government of the Republic of Honduras is calling for tenders for the acquisition of equipment, execution and administration of the comprehensive non-intrusive customs inspection system for the Puerto Cortés Customs Office, in order to increase control and security, while improving selectivity channels.
The information released today (28.12.2020/001/2021) indicates that the “Honduran Customs Administration invites companies interested in participating in the International Public Tender No. LPI-Customs-XNUMX-XNUMX to submit sealed offers for the Project Acquisition of equipment, execution and administration of the comprehensive non-intrusive customs inspection system for the Puerto Cortés Customs for a period of up to 13 years X-ray service according to the instructions of Puerto Cortés”.
The statement also adds that "the financing for the process comes from resources managed by a trust for the administration of collection and payment for the execution of the container cargo inspection service in Puerto Cortés, in favor of the Honduran Customs Administration."
The tender will be carried out in accordance with the international public tender procedures established in the State Procurement Law and its Regulations.
