The CCyS statement highlights that such a meeting has been closed with the promulgation of a series of recommendations to promote the development of member countries, thus allowing for a Greater commercial and productive integration of the region with the world and multiplying the flows of international trade and investments.
To try to achieve this goal, the businessmen expressed "their support for the authorities of the member countries to do everything within their power.”

– “Reformulate the content and objectives of MERCOSUR, to update it in accordance with changes in international trade.”
– “Review and improve institutional relations between MERCOSUR and the private sector, through representative entities.”
– “Analyze and agree on measures to reduce barriers and obstacles in order to improve and promote intra-regional trade.”
– “Generate greater internationality with third markets that lead to economic growth, increased competitiveness and expanded intra and extra MERCOSUR integration.”
– “Update relations with ALADI and participate in specific meetings and committees aimed at promoting regional trade.”
– “Advance and continue negotiations with the European Union, generating goals and objectives that respond to the agreed guidelines and modalities.”
– “Consider the progress of the Pacific Alliance and analyze alternative agreements aimed at achieving a bioceanic solution for the bloc.”
– “Review the actions of PARLASUR and its connection with the updated objectives of MERCOSUR, to determine the convenience of an adjustment in the level of communications and joint interactions with the private sectors.”
This was made clear in the document prepared at the Council meeting held within the framework of the IV International Conference on Trade and Services of MERCOSUR, led by the National Confederation of Trade in Goods, Services and Tourism of Brazil, which holds the Pro Tempore Presidency of the CCCM for the second half of the year.
