Starting this Monday (28.10.2019), to make purchases abroad or withdraw cash abroad, the dollars must be previously deposited in a bank account opened in foreign currency in Argentina, according to the Communication "A" 6815/2019 of the Central Bank of the Argentine Republic.

Furthermore, the announcement clarifies that only can be purchased for US$200 per person on a monthly basis.
The limit of US$200 is for those who make the transaction via home banking, while for cash purchases only US$100 may be purchased.
