The Government has begun to implement a new service in documentation centres that allows people to issue and collect their ID cards within ten days at the same place where the procedure was initiated, without the need for traditional mail delivery.
The agency dependent on the Ministry of the Interior deployed this New modality to facilitate the delivery of the National Identity Document (DNI) without mediation, That is, without the need for sending it by mail, and at the request of citizens.
"In this way, the person chooses when to go and pick it up without depending on the mail schedule," said the ministry headed by Rogelio Frigerio.
The places where this new modality is enabled are the Rapid Documentation Centers (CDR) of 25 de mayo, Paseo Colón, Palermo and Callao, in the City of Buenos Aires; and the one located in La Plata; as well as the Documentation Centers located in the towns in Buenos Aires from Quilmes, Tigre, Florencio Varela, Vicente López and the Coastal Train.
