New President of the Tax Court appointed

President Mauricio Macri appointed Public Accountant Rubén Alberto Marchevsky as President of the National Tax Court (TFN), a decentralized body operating under the Secretariat of Public Revenue of the Ministry of Finance.

This is established by the decree 174 / 2019 published this Monday (11.3.2019) in the Official Gazette. Marchevsky currently serves as a Tax Advisor of that Court since April 6, 2018, the text details.

The aforementioned Public Accountant will also serve as president of the TFN for a period of three years. "He may continue to hold said office until his new appointment, or that of another of the Members to perform his duties, is made," says the regulation.

The decree is signed by President Mauricio Macri and the Minister of Finance, Nicolás Dujovne.
