The National Institute of Viticulture (INV) has launched a “mixed system” for registering exports in order to speed up exports.

The measure was announced through the 16 / 2019 resolution published in the Official Gazette this Monday (6.5.2019), which aims to “provide a rapid response to industry requirements”, will be optional.

According to the regulations, the mixed system consists of an online Affidavit (DDJJ) in which the industrialist must complete a series of descriptive data of the wine to be exported, which is complemented by the performance of the corresponding analyses in the laboratory.

In the online DDJJ, the standard specifies, the industrialist must record "the required data and the following analytical determinations: volumetric mass, alcohol, dry extract, reducing sugars, total acidity, volatile acidity, polarimetric deviation, sulfates, chlorides, acidic artificial coloring matter, Lime in OCa, pH, precipitate, appearance, color, aroma and flavor."

"Since this is a mixed system and in order for the National Institute of Viticulture to carry out the special analyses that correspond to the destination, the interested party must present Form No. 1691 'Application for Export Analysis' with the regulatory sample to the corresponding laboratory.", the text of the published measure states.
