The Supreme Court of Justice suspended the winter judicial fair

-

The Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation decided to suspend the judicial recess of the month of July next all national and federal courts, due to the health crisis derived from the coronavirus pandemic, through the Agreed 21/2020.

The measure, announced on Friday (19.06.2020), lifts the winter break "exceptionally" for all courts and stated that "it is necessary to redouble efforts to deal with the particular circumstances of this time."

In its considerations, the Court highlighted "the need to provide an exceptional response to the extraordinary situation that is being experienced in order to ensure that the provision of the justice service does not suffer further deterioration".

"It is reasonable to take appropriate measures to prevent a further decline or stagnation of judicial work in a context of restrictions," the ministers added.
