The "Electronic Remittance for Sugar, Alcohol and By-Products" will be operational starting on December 1st, by which the transfers of sugar, alcohol and by-products obtained from the industrialization of sugar cane must be registered.
Sugar mills are required to issue electronic delivery notes when transporting the aforementioned products, whether their own or those of third parties, within the domestic market or for export.
This system establishes that when the products are destined for the domestic market, the recipient must enter the website in order to validate the receipt of the product, and may therefore accept or reject it in whole or in part.
AFIP will consider until January 31, 2020 as a period of adaptation of procedures, systems and subjects involved.
Therefore, during this period and in exceptional situations that prevent the issuance or validation of the electronic delivery note, operators may support their transfers with the delivery notes in force up to that time, provided for in General Resolution 1415/2003.
