New control system for grain export vessels has begun to operate

-

The computer system started working on Monday (16.4.2018) Next Wineries of the National Service for Agri-Food Health and Quality (Senasa) that allows for the management and communications corresponding to the inspection and approval operations of warehouses and tanks of ships and barges for the export of grains, their products and by-products that require subsequent intervention by the agency in the certification of the merchandise to be exported.

This system responds to what is established in the Resolution No. 693-E/2017 The aim of this project is to improve pre-loading controls on warehouses and tanks in accordance with the equivalent requirements demanded by export markets for the international transport of grains.

Senasa is responsible for supervising the verification tasks of warehouses/tanks by the grain controllers and certifiers registered in its Registry and intervening in the event of discrepancies between the different operators.

Shipping agencies are responsible for nominating the control companies that will be involved in these tasks. They should only request official control for inspection of warehouses/tanks in cases where it is required by the authorities of the importing countries.

The control companies will designate the warehouse inspectors who will intervene and after their inspection, they will send the certificate of suitability for loading of the warehouses, issued through the system, to the Senasa office with jurisdiction over the cargo terminal.

Senasa will only begin the cargo inspection once the required documentation has been received through the system.

The entry to the Sig Bodegas system must be done through the page AFIP website, Right there you will find the operating manuals for each user role, in the tab Custom.
