The National Director of Customs, José Ignacio Palma, explained that “Our officials have worked against the clock to implement all the measures that allow both to facilitate foreign trade in general, but particularly to directly support the fight against Covid-19. On the other hand, in an invisible task, many of our officials who are at the borders, must work in person, in many cases 24 hours a day, to be able to comply with what the country requires in this emergency.”
