This Saturday (6.4.2019) daylight saving time will end and winter will begin in Chile, and at midnight the clocks will be set back one hour to 23pm again.
This is the change to winter time and is taking place throughout the territory of the neighboring country, except for the Magallanes Region and the Chilean Arctic.
According to official information from the Ministry of Energy of the neighboring country, this measure is taken to have more natural light during the mornings.
All the trans-Andean agencies are reporting the change and it is especially important when the Cristo Redentor Integrated System begins its winter schedule, which contemplates the operation of the border complexes for only 12 hours. When it begins, the schedule will be from 8 a.m. to 20 p.m. in Libertadores and from 9 a.m. to 21 p.m. in Horcones.
