Officials from the Regional Customs Office of Iquique celebrated Christmas early with the children of the Technical Professional High School of Colchane. The activity took place in the border complex located 240 kilometers from Iquique and 3.695 meters above sea level, in northern Chile.
The Regional Director of the Iquique Customs, Cristian Molina Silva, explained that the celebration had the support of all the officials and he considered helping Santa Claus to bring presents and sweets to the border area. "Our officials are committed to the community and embrace institutional values, so this early Christmas is another example of their dedication to service.""He said.

The Director of the Colchane Technical Professional High School, Carmen Mora Albornoz, thanked the invitation and said that they took advantage of the opportunity to go to the Complex with a White Voices Choir and greet the officials and passengers.
The choir, added Professor Jaime Gutiérrez Tordoya, offered a medley of traditional Christmas carols in Spanish and Aymara.
Teacher María Teresa Zamora said that children from pre-kindergarten to sixth grade, both Chilean and Bolivian, attended the celebration, since the commune is a cross-border and multicultural area.We are very grateful for this invitation and the children were also very happy.”Pointed.
