A talk was given about the Panama Canal and its influence on World Maritime Trade

The Rosario Port Studies Center (CEPRO) held a professional meeting with a talk on “The Panama Canal and its influence on global maritime trade” in that city in the province of Santa Fe.

Under the slogan of a working table with more than twenty officials and local and regional representatives, the Ambassador of Panama to the Republic of Qatar and specialist in Foreign Trade, Oreste Del Rio Sandoval, spoke about the influence of the Panama Canal on the Global Maritime Market.

Also, within the framework of Connected Societies 2030, a platform whose purpose is to strengthen ties through the exchange of experiences between different actors in civil society, Director of CEPRO, Mr. Nolasco Salazar, together with the Commercial and Operational Manager of ENAPRO, Pedro Manno and the Director of the CNI, Raúl Negri, opened the meeting.

This event, which took place at the International Business Center of the National Port Authority of Rosario (ENAPRO), was supported by the group of TREJO from the National University of Córdoba, with Rosana Funes, JODCA-Secretariat of Integration and Equality for Women, with Romina Torres and Sofía Mola from INPPAR-Public Policy Incubator.

The talk “The Panama Canal and its Influence on Global Maritime Trade” is part of the series of keynote lectures that CEPRO will be developing throughout 2018.
