The 10th Meeting of the Federal Council of Argentine Free Trade Zones (CFZFA), which includes 17 provinces and the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, will take place on November 14 at the Provincial Tourism Hotel in the city of Catamarca.
From the State Secretariat for Regional Coordination and Integration of Catamarca they detailed that the meeting has the objective of "defend and promote the free trade zone regime" before private, official, national and international entities and the development and strengthening of national economic sectors.
Along these lines, they stressed that the meeting will be held in Catamarca due to strong support from the interprovincial body for the efforts made by the local government represented by the State Secretariat for Regional Coordination and Integration for the establishment of the Free Trade Zone in the Tinogasta department, in addition to active participation in the CFZFA calls.
Finally, they explained that during the day, the Forum "Federalism, integration and regional economic development. Federalism as a guarantee of equality and development" will be held, where topics will be addressed on the potential of the Bioceanic Corridor project, the Free Trade Zones, the Atacalar macro region, Paso de San Francisco, Chilean ports and the link with the Asia-Pacific markets.
Currently, the Federal Council of Argentine Free Trade Zones is chaired by Sebastián Lavandeira, who serves as Secretary of State for San Luis Logístic.
