Buenos Aires: Air Force transports excluded from the use of seals

-

The National Government exempts the use of the Electronic Customs Monitoring Seal (PEMA) and customs custody for vehicles used to transport merchandise consigned to the Argentine Air Force.

The measure will apply to "movements carried out from the warehouses of the port and air terminals to the Fiscal Warehouse of Importation and Exportation of Military Material for Defense, in the jurisdiction of the Buenos Aires Customs", details the Resolution 3-E/2018.

Furthermore, the regulation indicates that the integrity of the war material being transported will be under the exclusive responsibility of the Force that registers the import destination. It adds: "The customs service will proceed to seal the means of transport used, after having completed the necessary controls prior to its departure and must verify the integrity of the seals upon arrival before proceeding to open them."

Resolution 3E/2018, published this Thursday (18.01.2017), bears the signature of Diego Javier Dávila.
