The Ministry of Production and Labor of the Nation, through 623 / 2019 resolution, approved this Friday (09.08.2019) the award of the concession for the construction, exploitation and administration of the Perico Free Trade Zone, in favor of the UTE formed by Jujuy Energy and Mining State Company (JEMSE) and JUMI SRL
Likewise, through the resolution 624/2019, Dante Sica's portfolio decided to approve the award of the concession for the construction, exploitation and administration of the La Quiaca Free Trade Zone, in favor of the UTE made up of JEMSE, TELINFOR SA and JUMI SRL
The next step in this process is the signing of the contract with the two operators of the free trade zones of Perico and La Quiaca.
In mid-March, the governor of Jujuy, Gerardo Morales, opened the bidding process for the Perico free zone, aimed at industrial production for export, while the retail free zone in La Quiaca will include the sale of vehicles and motorcycles to Jujuy residents.
