Argentina and China sign action plan 2019-2030

Argentine President Mauricio Macri highlighted the joint action plan 2019-2023 signed between Buenos Aires and Beijing on Sunday (2.12.2018) to strengthen ties between the two nations.

Macri praised the “2019-2023 joint action plan to strengthen multiple sectors”, in an appearance alongside the Chinese president, Xi Jinping, on an official visit to Buenos Aires.

Argentine President Mauricio Macri also congratulated Jinping on the 40th anniversary of the Asian country's launch of "the opening and reform plan that marked the beginning of China's development, which enabled 800 million people to be lifted out of poverty."

30 agreements

The Chinese president, for his part, stressed that the 30 agreements signed establish cooperation in financial, economic, cultural, commercial and agricultural matters "for the sake of common development."«.

The Chinese president congratulated his Argentine counterpart for "the successful holding of the G20 summit," which concluded with a joint declaration in favor of reforming the World Trade Organization (WTO).

Jinping, who had been on a working visit to Spain before arriving in Argentina, left the country on Sunday night for Panama, his first official trip to the Central American country.
