Argentina: Biodiesel withholdings rise to 15%

-

The national government increased the Biodiesel export duty rate to 15 percent the Decree 486 / 2018, published this Monday (28.5.2018) in the Official Gazette.

In December 2017, the new administration set the export duty rate at 8%, which was at 0% as of Decrees Nos. 133/15 and amendments.

In accordance with the progressive reduction of the export duty rate on soybean oil established in Decree No. 1343/16, it is necessary to continue promoting convergence between the export duties on said product and on biodiesel.
