Argentina will host the Digital Services Summit that will take place on July 11 and 12 in the city of Buenos Aires. The event “Made in The Americas Global Digital Services” (MITA GDS Summit) is organized by the Integration Section of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), the Ministry of Production and Labor of Argentina and the Argentine Agency for Investment and International Trade.
The summit will allow companies in the region to showcase their creativity to the world and take advantage of opportunities delivered by the global digital economy, valued at $11.500 trillion, or 15,5% of global GDP. By 2025, the digital economy will account for $23.000 trillion, or 24% of global GDP.
Animation, video games, programming and financial services are the sectors that have achieved global recognition.
