Argentina regulates SISA registration of grain producers

-

The national government regulated the registration of grain and seed producers in the certification process, cereals and oilseeds, and dried legumes in the Simplified Agricultural Information System (SISA), which replaces the National Sanitary Registry of Agricultural Producers (Renspa), in these activities.

The measure is contemplated in the Resolution 586 / 2018 published this Wednesday (12.9.2018/XNUMX/XNUMX) in the Official Gazette.

Registration

According to the norm, the aforementioned agricultural producers must register in the SISA, entering the website of the Federal Administration of Public Revenue, with tax code, according to the procedure determined by that Agency.

The information entered into the SISA registration will be forwarded to Senasa, which will validate the data received and after this, the producer will be authorized to begin operating.

Meanwhile, the information of producers in this sector who are already registered in the National Sanitary Registry of Agricultural Producers (Renspa) will be migrated to SISA by electronic means.

Control and simplification

It should be noted that the rest of the activities will continue to be registered in Renspa. The rule is framed in Law No. 27.233 which declares national interest, animal health, as well as the prevention, control and eradication of diseases and pests that affect national forestry and agricultural production, with Senasa being the implementing authority and responsible for planning, executing and controlling the development of the actions provided for in the law.

It is also based on decrees No. 434/2016 – State Modernization Plan, to provide it with a framework of efficiency, effectiveness and quality in the provision of services to users -, No. 1.273/2016 - establishes the exchange of information between entities and jurisdictions of the National Public Sector - No. 87/2017 - creates the Digital Platform of the National Public Sector to facilitate interaction between people and the State - and No. 891/2017 - Good practices in simplification, in the issuance of standards and their regulations -.
