The economy grew by 2017% in 2,8, the highest since 2011, according to sources from the Ministry of Finance, who added that in December, the variation compared to the same month of the previous year was 2%.
Meanwhile, INDEC reported on Wednesday (28.02.2018) that the Monthly Estimator of Economic Activity (EMAE) for December showed an improvement of 2% year-on-year and 0,6% monthly.
The expansion of economic activity occurred in 13 of the 15 sectors studied, according to the same sources consulted.
According to Indec, growth was driven by fishing (14,2%), construction (10,0%), which is growing at a double-digit rate for the seventh consecutive month, financial intermediation (5,1%) and agriculture and livestock (4,5%).
While Transport and Communications (10,3%) and Fishing (0,2%) were the only activities that fell.
