The National Service of Health and Agri-Food Quality (Senasa) established the Administrative Complaints Management System, through 1517 / 2019 resolution.
The measure, published this Tuesday (19.11.2019/XNUMX/XNUMX) in the Official Gazette, seeks preserve transparency in the public service through the Administrative Complaints Management System, which exerts a control for corruption crimes and administrative violations exercised by a third party or public official, within the scope of Senasa's competenceFurthermore, the resolution prevents private interests from affecting the achievement of the purpose for which the State's activity should be directed.
The Government pointed out that a system of administrative complaints is essential, both for acts by third parties and for public officials. And that it also be an effective tool in improving the fulfillment of Senasa's objectives.
Administrative, disciplinary or lack of service offenses are defined as actions or omissions by State agents that constitute violations of the duties and prohibitions imposed. In this sense, actions such as conflicts of interest, incompatibilities and violations of internal rules of conduct.
In this way, the Administrative Complaint Management System was approved, through which all administrative complaints related to alleged violations of the "current legislation whose competence corresponds to Senasa.”
