The national government updated the classifications for a series of electrical industry goodsa contemplated in the Draw Back Regime, that provides for the full or partial restitution of import duties and statistical taxes for imported inputs, components, parts, pieces and packaging that are incorporated into the improvement or processing of a product destined for the foreign market.
He did it through 154 / 2019 resolution of the Ministry of Foreign Trade published this Tuesday (26.11.2019) in the Official Gazette, which specified that updates to the classifications of a series of goods destined for export for consumption have been requested.
He also indicated that in their presentations, the petitioners requested that the import duties and the statistics tax paid on the inputs be reimbursed to them.
For its part, the National Institute of Industrial Technology (TI) carried out the evaluation of the quantities used in the manufacturing processes, and the Undersecretariat of Trade Facilitation proceeded to prepare the respective technical study proposing the corresponding classifications.
The resolution pointed out that the established classifications They will be applicable to exports destined for extra-zone countries, and to those destined for States that are part of Mercosur.
The measure has been approved by the Secretary of Foreign Trade, Marisa Bircher.
