El Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries reduces the term of the Foreign Sales Affidavits (DJVE) from 45 to 30 days, through 78 / 2019 resolution.

The measure, published this Thursday (03.10.2019) in the Official Gazette, indicates that "the current economic situation has determined, therefore, reasons of public knowledge, the need to advance the payment of export duties on some of the products."

For “DJVE-30” The shipping period will be considered to begin on the day of approval and if the product is subject to export duties, the settlement must be made at the time of the official exportation based on the rate of export duties corresponding to the closing date of sale and taking into account the official FOB value of said date.

Payment of export duties for the indicated products must be made within 5 business days since the registration of the corresponding Foreign Sales Affidavits (DJVE), for at least the 90% of the declared quantity (weight or volume).

The ministry highlights that the validity periods may be modified by the Undersecretariat of Agricultural Markets, when it deems it necessary. In addition, any alteration to the present regime may not affect the previously declared operations.

Meanwhile, failure to comply with the aforementioned payment terms will not have any effect on the validity of the registered Foreign Sales Affidavits (DJVE), which will remain in force, but will be subject to sanctions.
