The national government extended the deadline for joining the 2020 Moratorium for micro, small and medium-sized companies, self-employed workers, freelancers and non-profit entities, until August 31st.
This is established by the Decree 634 / 2020 published this Thursday (30.07.2020) in the Official Gazette.
The decision to extend the moratorium seeks to ensure that adherence to the regime is not affected by the pandemic and make the economic recovery pursued by the Law of Social Solidarity and Productive Reactivation effective.
The 2020 Moratorium allows taxpayers to regularize overdue tax, social security and customs debts until November 30 from 2019.
AFIP regulations establish that the first installment of payment facility plans submitted between August 1 and August 31, 2020, both dates inclusive, will expire on September 16, 2020.
The measure will come into effect on July 31, 2020.
