The AFIP extended until November 1 the deadline for importers to prove financial solvency to the tax authorities to operate in the foreign trade sector, through the General resolution 4617/2019 published this Wednesday (30.10.2019/XNUMX/XNUMX) in the Official Gazette.
The regulation explains that General Resolution 3885 established the applicable regime for the constitution, extension, substitution, expansion and extinction of guarantees granted in protection of tax credit originating from taxes, fines, social security resources, fees, rights and other charges whose application, collection or supervision is the responsibility of this Federal Administration, including those intended to replace preventive precautionary measures.
General Resolution 4555 also set, among other things, the deadline for submitting performance guarantees.
This measure emphasized that, in light of the problems that have arisen during the course of the systemic processes for determining the solvency accredited by foreign trade operators, it is necessary to modify the previously indicated deadline, which was last October 1.
Thus he established that The solvency accredited until July 31, 2019 by importers, exporters and other foreign trade operators will automatically expire on November 1, 2019, date up to which guarantees of performance may be presented.
