The Federal Administration of Gross Revenue (AFIP) established the steps to follow to carry out the electronic payment of tax obligations, social security resources and customs. The measure was published this Wednesday (11.09.2019) in the Official Gazette, through the General resolution 4577/2019.
According to the measure, to cancel obligations through electronic transfer of funds, the taxpayer will have to enter the “Filing of DDJJ and Payments” service which is available on the website of this agency (http://www.afip.gob.ar), by using the Tax Code with Security Level 2 as a minimum.
Then dYou must generate the electronic payment slip (VEP) using the “New VEP”, where the obligations to be cancelled will be specified. Thus, the data relating to the Unique Tax Identification Code (CUIT) or Unique Labor Identification Code (CUIL), period, tax, concept, subconcept and amount, and where applicable, other identification data of the payment will be completed.
Also, also You can use the “VEP from Debt” option: In this option, the system will display the details of the different obligations owed for each of the fiscal periods and to do so, you must select the Unique Tax Identification Code (CUIT) or Unique Labor Identification Code (CUIL) with which you wish to operate.
According to the regulations, In “VEP from Maturities” the system will report the details of the different obligations close to maturity, Meanwhile in “VEP from File” you must select the file to use, prepared according to the registration design, validations and other conditions published on the “Payment Methods” microsite of the institutional website.
The AFIP detailed regarding these steps to follow that in all cases, The generated VEP will be identified with a unique number and must be paid in full in a single payment. even if it contains more than one obligation. In this regard, you will have to choose the payment entity that will be used to cancel the generated electronic payment slip (VEP).
Then the Taxpayers must access the website of the chosen payment entity or the authorized bank and make the payment of the VEP that was generated. Regardless of the option used, in order to incorporate new tax obligations to be paid, you can select “Add another VEP”, having to perform the steps described in the previous points again, as appropriate.
El system will generate a “Consolidated VEP” or “Multiple VEP”, as appropriate, which will contain the associated obligations included. Meanwhile, the federal administration describes that taxpayers and/or responsible parties must have a bank account in pesos through which payment by debit to the account will be authorized.
Thus, for the specially authorized “Tax-Concepts”, the payment can also be made with credit cards, debit cards or any other electronic payment method accepted by the Central Bank and AFIP. Likewise, the VEP can be generated automatically from other services with a Tax Code in which this option is available.
The measure will take effect immediately.
