AFIP clarifies on the submission of sworn declarations to OA

-

Due to news reports indicating that the Anti-Corruption Office (OA) warned the head of the AFIP, Leandro Cuccioli, for inconsistencies in his asset declaration, the Federal Public Revenue Administration clarifies that it is a communication in institutional and not personal terms, referring to computer problems in sending the data contained in the sworn declarations submitted by all public officials required by law.

The note was published by the Anti-Corruption Office on the website www.argentina.gob.ar in order to communicate that it requested the AFIP to urgently reprocess and retransmit the data of the DDJJ to be published, as stated in a note

The AFIP is the agency that developed the computer application through which officials must upload their sworn declaration to the OA. Once completed, the system automatically sends the data to the OA and during said transmission the problems mentioned in the note occurred, which were solved on Friday, September 7.

In this sense, the note is addressed to Mr. Cuccioli in his capacity as head of the AFIP and not in personal terms. Therefore, it should be noted that the sworn statement of this official is not observed by the OA.
